About Zichron Tzvi Elimelech

Zichron Tzvi Elimelech (ZTE) was founded by Jacob Lichter and his family in loving memory of their grandparents: Harvey and Bea Brody, Moshe and Frieda Lichter, Barney and Rita Rayburn, and Nat and Elza Leibler z”l. These grandparents — some of whom were Holocaust survivors — were deeply committed to Torah, Chesed, and Eretz Yisrael, values that are at the heart of ZTE’s mission and funding efforts.

The organization is named after Harvey Brody (Tzvi Elimelech), a direct descendant of the Bnei Yissaschar, the esteemed R’ Tzvi Elimelech of Dinov. Through this dedication, ZTE honors a family legacy rooted in faith, generosity, and a deep connection to the Jewish people and the Land of Israel.

While it was a family initiative, Jacob remains at the heart of its daily leadership and operations. The same care and commitment he brings to ZTE also guide his professional work, where he develops tailor-made real estate investment opportunities in both Israel and America. www.jlinvestor.com.

Success Stories

"Thanks to its fiscal sponsorship, ZTE played a crucial role in helping us build our shul and ensuring the proper functioning of our community center. Their support was instrumental after our successful Causematch campaign, where we raised funds from generous donors abroad."

SK

Ramat Beit Shemesh, Israel

"It was a pleasure working with Zichron Tzvi Elimelech. I received my receipt and confirmation on time, and the transfer of my donor-advised fund (DAF) to their account was smooth and efficient, all handled electronically."

JS

Miami, Florida

"As a fundraiser in the USA for several key campaigns distributing funds in Israel, ZTE was incredibly helpful in facilitating the entire process. Their expertise ensured that both our U.S. donors and recipients in Israel had full confidence that everything would be completed efficiently and on time."

MN

NYC, New York

"After hearing from my cousin how ZTE helped her brother's army unit with all their needs, how easy they were to work with, and that the funds went to the right causes, I felt confident making a generous donation knowing it would support causes close to my heart."
